Hello, and welcome to my website! I'm Cameron Branch, a former USport student-athlete, and current professional volleyball player. I spent 5 years at Nipissing University, earning a minor in Psychology along side a Bachelor's degree in Physical and Health Education. To further my knowledge, I completed a Masters of Science degree in Kinesiology that focused on Health and Exercise Psychology.
My health journey commenced after experiencing a difficult time managing the demands placed on me as a student athlete. I was overwhelmed by the ongoing priorities of schoolwork, volleyball games, and vigorous training schedules. As a result, I found myself chronically tired, unable to focus in class, unable to concentrate on the court and my body was unable to properly recover. This lead to inconsistent performance and overuse injuries.
As it turns out, many other athletes have shared a similar experience. This observation provoked my interest to pursue a career in health and performance coaching. With a born passion to promote optimal health and wellbeing, I was inspired to create what is now Branch Sports Performance, founded in 2019. We provide training, nutrition, recovery and mindset programs to individual athletes, sport teams, and organizations. Our goal is to keep athletes healthy, and support their peak athletic potential. We have proudly supported individuals of all ages, and athletes at all levels from youth to professional, achieve their health, life and sport performance goals.
